Katie and Marvelyn share a profound love for dental hygiene and a fascination with periodontal disease. Having worked for years in dental practices, they have witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of untreated gum disease on patients’ oral health. Yet, they have also seen the incredible potential for transformation that lay within the realm of periodontal endoscopy.
Marvelyn and Katie are among the few who have received specialized training and have experienced the remarkable results this technology can deliver.
Perio Precise, was founded with the mission to make periodontal endoscopy common knowledge within the dental community. Our goal is to empower dental professionals to embrace periodontal endoscopy as an essential tool in their practice.
Through workshops, seminars, and personalized training sessions, we will share our knowledge and expertise, making it easier to understand the technology, while allowing clinicians to integrate it seamlessly into their daily routines. “Treat patients with vision and precision”. Marvelyn Navarro
Marvelyn is a dedicated dental hygienist with 15 years of experience in dentistry.
Since graduating in 2016, she has remained deeply committed to continued education and innovation, becoming one of the few clinicians trained in periodontal endoscopy.
By combining advanced technology with clinical precision, she delivers predictable, high-quality results while helping patients better understand their oral health. She is also a passionate educator and speaker, sharing her expertise on emerging dental technologies, airway health, and the oral-systemic connection.
As President of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA)of Nevada, Marvelyn is driven by a mission to elevate patient care, expand education, and shape the future of dentistry.
Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys a rich and fulfilling personal life. She is a devoted wife and mother of two children, cherishing the time spent with her family. Her adventurous spirit has taken her to 20 different countries, experiencing diverse cultures and expanding her horizons. In her free time, she indulges in her passion for dance, maintains a rigorous workout regimen, and revels in the company of her loved ones.

Katie
Benavides
Katie Benavides has 15 years of experience in dentistry. Starting at Sunburst Dental Labs and growing through roles like dental assistant and front office treatment coordinator. After graduating from the College of Southern Nevada’s dental hygiene program in 2010, Katie gained extensive knowledge in periodontal care, working closely with periodontists. Early on, she earned her laser certification and witnessed firsthand the powerful impact of advancing technology on patient care.
Katie’s expertise spans oral pathogen analysis, periodontal disease diagnosis, and treatment, with a particular passion for using dental endoscopes. She’s dedicated to coaching and empowering dental hygiene teams, helping them improve their skills in prevention, diagnosis, and patient education. Katie believes that embracing technology in dentistry is crucial for improving patient outcomes and practice efficiency.
Originally from Minnesota, Katie now calls Las Vegas home with her husband and two children. A proud Golden Knights fan, Katie enjoys family time and traveling to experience new cultures. She’s also fluent in Spanish.
